How to Redeem a PlayStation Code on PS5 and PS4

PlayStation keys are 12-character codes redeemed in PlayStation Store. You can do it on the console, on the website or in the PlayStation App — the game is added to your account either way.

On PS5

Open PlayStation Store from the home screen.
Select the … (more) icon at the top of the store.
Choose Redeem Code, enter the code and confirm.

On PS4

Open PlayStation Store.
Scroll to the bottom of the left-hand menu and select Redeem Codes.
Enter the code and confirm.

In a browser or the PlayStation App

Log in to PlayStation Store on the web, click your avatar and choose Redeem Codes. In the PlayStation App open the Store tab, then the menu and Redeem Code. The game is ready to download the next time your console is online.

Check your account region

PlayStation codes are tied to the region of your account. An EU code needs an account created with a European country. You can see the country in your account settings — read more in Region Locks Explained.

PS4 or PS5?Codes marked “PS4/PS5” work on both consoles. Most PS4 games also run on PS5, but not the other way round.
